Culver's - Owatonna, MN

Granicrete Minnesota was chosen to remodel Culver's, located in Owatonna, MN. The local franchise owners saw our work and wanted to use our durable, seamless, "no-demo" product. Our teams had one week to complete their remodel, and we used two teams of certified artisan installers working around the clock to complete the installation. Because of the time constraint, we resurfaced all of the tables from the former restaurant at our warehouse and then brought them into the finished restaurant on the last day of construction. All our other work was done on site. In this Culver's location, we resurfaced the walls, floors, counters, window sills, bathroom mirror framing, and rock wall. To save time and avoid demolition cost and clean up, we went over all the old tile flooring and walls, as well as other surfaces like countertops. In doing so, we saved the franchise owners time and money, which was a concern they had during the remodel. Culver's Corporate allowed the franchise owners to use non-standard colors in their restaurant. Instead of using the brand-standard blue associated with Culver's, we were able to use warm browns and golds in their design. The rich colors make the restaurant feel inviting and personal.
